PVC Waste Recovery Initiative
At INCIMMET, we developed a PVC reuse project focused on recycling PVC waste generated from mining PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) into the production of new materials.
We currently provide technical advisory services to implement this type of solution in mining operations.
We contribute to waste reduction and promote the efficient use of resources.
Applied Engineering for Tailings Transformation
An innovation-driven project focused on converting mine tailings into functional construction materials through a technical approach based on material characterization, mix design, and experimental validation.
Through a pilot plant and specialized testing conducted at the Seismic Structures Laboratory of PUCP, up to 50% of conventional aggregates were successfully replaced, achieving high-performance compressive strengths (up to 900 kg/cm²), thereby demonstrating its technical feasibility.
This initiative reflects how applied engineering can transform an environmental liability into a valuable resource, delivering solutions oriented toward sustainability, material optimization, and value creation for the mining and construction industries.
